Health systems, public health, policy and research consultant with extensive experience supporting governments, international organisations, research institutions and development partners across Africa.
His work spans health systems strengthening, public health, clinical research regulation, research ethics, antimicrobial resistance, health policy and strategy, implementation research, digital health, monitoring and evaluation and programme management.
He has contributed to major national health policies and strategic frameworks in Malawi, including work relating to antimicrobial resistance, health research policy and strategy, implementation research, health-research financing, viral hepatitis and health and climate change.
His regional work also includes support to the TRACE Project across Zimbabwe, Tanzania, Nigeria, Kenya and Rwanda, strengthening clinical-trial regulation and research-ethics systems.
At Mitambo & Co, he leads multidisciplinary teams and provides strategic direction across the firm’s advisory and technical work.
